It is always a pleasure to talk about one of the greatest spanish designers. Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo but is now living and working in Milan. The designer works for many well stablished brands with incredible success. It is not the first time Patricia partners up with Mutina to create a tile collection but this time it is remarkable from a design perspective.

The collection Azulej brings back the memory of the very fashionable hydraulic cement tiles with an innovative digital printing technique that enables a bigger production at a reduced price and labour. Patricia has combined patterns and colours inspiring the collection in different languages, memories, geometrical shapes, floral design… The different tiles can be combined forming very attractive patterns.
