A bit of British colonialism, Madam Geneva by AvroKO

AvroKO is one of those multidisciplinary companies where architecture, brands, products and environments are created in a fresh new way. Specialised in Hospitality Design, the studio has become one of the most innovative firms in the industry in the United States.

Madam Geneva (4 Bleecker Street, New York, 10012) is an old slang term for Gin which is the main drink at this venue’s small bar. The room has exposed brick, steel and rivets showing the original structure of the building. On this canvas, the designers have created a space with some dark moody blue walls that bring to the Big Apple that British colonial feel. The scene is warmed up by the velvet and leather upholstered sofas and the bright red easy chairs.

The sultry lounge features lace upholstered walls, hanging lanterns and flickering candles in the tables and even a gramophone in a corner, creating a very intimate and cozy atmosphere, ideal for a romantic date!!  When in New York do not miss this place!
